There are still corners of the world where you can’t send or receive e-mail. The Kruger National Park is one of them. In this case, I enjoyed the conference.

I’m sure you can e-mail from Cape Town, but being incommunicado has it merits! 

TIP: If you’re going to be unavailable for a week or two, let your coworkers/clients/friends and family know before you leave home, then you can relax and enjoy the trip. Leave fax numbers for your hotels as back-up in case someone really needs to contact you.
