If you are looking for speakers, jump to Speaking
Topics for the titles of typical presentations. We share our view of
future trends in presentations to national and international audiences.
Joanne Pratt's talk, “Dogbooties.com: Fundamental transformations in the
ways we live and work,” got an attentive audience with lots of questions
(“There were thousands of things I wanted to ask you.”) and welcome
praise:
“What a great job you did last night!! Your presentation was
interesting, timely and well-delivered.”
“You were excellent last evening.”
“You were completely convincing and encouraging in your talk about the
new agora of commerce online. Thank you for making the evening a
delight.”
A more formal presentation at the Transportation Research Board (TRB)
annual meeting answered the question why the counts of teleworkers don’t
agree. See the abstract of the paper, "Teleworkers,
Trips and Telecommunications: Technology drives telework—but does it
reduce trips?" published by the TRB.
